Christopher James
All I have is my own perspective on the world I see.
“My World Today: Sydney 2022” is comprised of 55 photos made over 8 weeks in March and April, 2022.
Inspired by Obscura’s “The World Today” project, “Sydney 2022” represents my personal experience of Sydney this year. In the midst of pandemic, floods, foreign war, inflation, rampant housing price escalation, the climate crisis and an upcoming federal election, we all started emerging from some of the longest lockdowns in the world to see our city anew and rediscover our neighbours and public spaces.
The collection traverses my emotional mood of the eight weeks, from black and white to a brief ray of colour, and then back again.
As one of the first photography collections on any Ethereum Layer 2, I’m proud to release this as a free mint to encourage exploration of Ethereum scaling solutions.
Each photo is in an edition of 10 to promote sharing, adoption and enjoyment. My thanks go to Wim Van Cappellen who helped with curation – though of course I take full responsibility for the quality (or lack of) in all the photos.
